About the weekly live Q&A
A free, open session where two immigration attorneys answer real questions from the audience, live, every single week.
Each Tuesday at 2:00 PM Eastern, Arif Gozel and Leyla Moallemzadeh go live on YouTube. They open with a short read on what changed that week in U.S. immigration, at USCIS, in the federal courts, and on the Visa Bulletin, so you can hear what it means before you have to go looking for it yourself. It is plain-spoken and practical, built for people with something actually at stake, not a lecture.
Then the session opens to questions. Anyone can watch and take part, whether you are just starting to look into your options or already have a case underway. You do not need to be a client and you do not need the legal vocabulary. Send your question ahead of time through this page and it is answered first, in the order received, before the live chat. Every session stays on the channel, so a question asked once helps everyone who finds it later.

Arif founded the firm after practicing at two immigration firms in Washington, DC. His federal court practice centers on mandamus and APA lawsuits against USCIS, challenging both unreasonable delays and wrongful denials, from stalled EB-5 and marriage-based green cards to asylum backlogs and consular processing that leaves people waiting abroad. He has also led group actions against USCIS and ICE, including challenges to mass SEVIS terminations affecting F-1 students. Licensed in New Jersey, New York, Maryland, and Turkey, and admitted before twelve federal district courts, he is authorized to practice immigration law in every U.S. state and is a member of AILA.
Leyla Moallemzadeh, Esq.
Senior Associate Attorney
Leyla has devoted her practice exclusively to U.S. immigration law since 2007, advising businesses, executives, investors, and families on their most consequential decisions. She works across industries from pharmaceuticals and aerospace to technology, healthcare, and finance, handling everything from executive and specialty work visas to extraordinary-ability and national-interest cases, family petitions, and consular processing. She earned her LL.M. summa cum laude from Touro, is admitted in New York and before the Supreme Court of the United States, and went through the immigration process herself before spending her career guiding others through it.
Before you register
Do I have to register to watch?
No. The stream is public on YouTube and free. Registering does two things: it puts your question ahead of the live chat, and it gets you an email reminder before we start.
Will my name be read on air?
Only if you let us. Tick the box on the form and your question is read without your name attached. The recording stays on the channel afterwards, so it is worth deciding before you send.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is general information about how U.S. immigration law works. Answering your question on a livestream does not make us your lawyers, and you should not act on it as advice about your own case.
Can I ask about my own case?
You can ask about your situation in general terms. Please leave out receipt numbers, A-numbers, names, and anything you would not want on a public recording. Nothing you send here is confidential, and sending it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
What if I can't make it on Tuesday?
Register anyway. Your question still gets answered in the session, and every session stays on the YouTube channel, so you can watch the answer whenever you get to it.
